About Serra Quiet Retreat Centre
Serra Quiet was created by a small team of retreat hosts who wanted visiting teachers to arrive and begin their work without having to assemble a venue from scratch. We keep the setting simple, calm, and practical, with support available before and during each stay.
Capacity: 21–40 guests
Guest rooms: 11–20 rooms
Accommodations: Twelve simple guest rooms sleep up to 24 people. Eight rooms have private bathrooms and four share two nearby bathrooms. Linens, towels, heating, and basic toiletries are provided.
Food service: All meals included
Dietary options: Vegetarian meals are standard. Vegan, gluten-free, and common allergy needs can usually be accommodated with advance notice.
Gathering and practice spaces: The indoor practice hall seats 30 on cushions or 24 in chairs. A covered terrace can hold 20 people, and two smaller rooms are available for private sessions or staff use.
Travel and arrival: The centre is about 40 minutes from Lisbon Airport. Group transfers can be arranged, and the nearest rail station is a 15-minute taxi ride away.
Events hosted: Sound retreats, meditation retreats, teacher trainings, small concerts, movement classes, and private group stays.
Booking and inquiries: Send your preferred dates, group size, room needs, and meal requirements. The venue coordinator replies with availability and a written estimate.
